They ran down the tunnel.
After a few minutes, they found three doors.
One was blue.
One was green.
One was red.
Above them was a sign.
ONLY ONE IS SAFE.
Jake pointed at the red door.
“Red is probably bad.”
Max pointed at the green door.
“Green usually means go.”
Jake shook his head.
“That is the exact kind of thinking that gets people trapped in creepy tunnels.”
Max laughed.
Then they heard footsteps behind them.
Slow footsteps.
Step.
Step.
Step.
They turned.
Nothing.
The footsteps stopped.
Then the speaker came back on.
“Choose.”
Max looked at the doors.
Blue.
Green.
Red.
The footsteps started again.
Closer this time.
Jake grabbed the green door.
“WE'RE GOING GREEN!”
They opened it.
Nothing happened.
They both sighed.
Then the floor dropped.
“AAAAAAAH!”
They fell.
