“Slice” “Slice” “Slice” “woosh” I see my dad get launched about a mile away while shards fly hitting. Falling seeing what might be the last second of life until. “Splash’ im alive, im alive. Waves, fish, coral living flowing, breathing as I fall into an endless blue void. Blood BLOOD, wait if there is blood, Sharks can SMELL it. “Oh shoot”
So I gotta swim down about 20 feet to find my gear in the sunken ship then get food.
“Here it goes,” I say as I start to swim down. That's 5 feet now. Ouch the pressure. Seems at about past 8 feet it hurts well. I think I can just persevere through it. Miserably I swim down not knowing if I will get the gear until. “Shoot this bag is latched on me wait thats the. SUPPLY BAG!?! As I swim back up I hear a noise of something swimming but its a. TURTLE??? I look at that as good luck but, Thats weird how sharks aren't here yet but I should probably use this time wisely for finding food and shelter in knowing that you can eat sea urchins raw so I might pick those up. Fish go by yet I cant catch them so I might just try to find a sea cave that has a land part. Then I saw the Cave my new home.
The problem is not the cave its the area I only have 1 oxygen tank meaning if its deep it will waste the oxygen so because it is around 23 feet below sea level I need at least a deep breath and a small maybe even a medium breath. But its good enough so i'm gonna get there now.
Huff! One deep breath and here I go, the swim is kind of exhausting because of my buoyancy forcing me up. Gasp! Finally I made it to HQ, The Cave, My new home. There was enough moss to make a bed. “Man this is comfy.” I said as I buried myself in the cushion moss. I noticed a sea urchin and ate it. The outside of the sea urchin was filled with it black barbs almost like a purplish red part of them while the inside was a soft creamy orange solid piece of uni. “Slurp” it melts in your mouth. Ok so that was a nice snack but no real meal I need like a solid tuna or a few lobsters maybe even a snapper ive studied for these so I know that you have to be precise with barracuda because they will go fast, lobsters will be under rocks so you need to corner them and I need to become the apex predator.
My spear was a present from my dad in early 2020 but I never got to truly use it other than my pool which is when I learned everything I knew it was a bow and arrow type spear meaning it will go fast but I need to be in range. “its time” I exclaimed while jumping down back into the water immediately I saw a rock with spiny whiskers sticking out. I immediately knew they were lobsters. There were about 12 I could probably grab about 2 of them. The hunt begins
i swim down under the rock and notice that they are facing there barbs at me I think thats so stupid and grab that barb and pull but it just comes of I think thats creepy then go for the back “i GOT iT” thats one down now I just need to grab the other and secure my victory.
After a while of trying to get them I ended up only with one tasty lobster.
The swim back to hq is amazing just feeling my nice juicy lobster in my hand feels so good. I finally make it back and start a little tiny fire with sticks and moss using primitive fire methods and then I put the lobster on and let it cook. While I start boiling I look up and see an anonymous figure say ”CA CAW CA CAW Hello what are you doing young fella…” “WhO ArE YOU" I said shakingly. “Your cave was my home before you were born, I must leave now.”
